National Prayer Day on Human Trafficking 2026
Every year in September, National Prayer Day on Trafficking in Persons and Modern Slavery brings together people from all walks of life to unite in prayer, advocacy, and awareness on TIP and MS. Through prayer and reflection, participants come together to support the global fight against trafficking, while also advocating for stronger protections and policies to combat it in Uganda and beyond. The day is organised by Uganda Episcopal Conference, John Paul II Justice and Peace Centre, Mwagale Foundation, Association of Religious In Uganda, St. Bakhita Anti-Human Trafficking Network and other partners.
This year's event will take place on 13th September 2026 at Sharing Youth Centre Nsambya Kampala starting at 9am
