Human Rights and Good Governance
JPIIJPC promotes human rights, democracy, and good governance in Uganda by combating human trafficking, advocating for girl-child education, providing civic education, empowering refugee and host community women with vocational skills, and establishing vocational training workshops to enhance self-reliance and reduce vulnerability.
Peace and Peaceful Dispute Resolution
The Centre fosters social cohesion and peaceful coexistence in refugee settlements and communities through peace education, intercultural dialogue, community engagement, and targeted projects like solar-powered schools, health centers, and business hubs to reduce conflict drivers.
Care for Creation and Environment
JPIIJPC implements year-round environmental initiatives, including tree planting, climate change awareness, Laudato Si’ commemorations, and youth engagement programs, promoting ecological stewardship, climate action, and sustainable living in partnership with schools, faith-based organizations, and communities across Uganda.
